“The contact owns a 2008 Lincoln Town Car. While driving at 40 MPH and making a right turn, the steering wheel seized without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the steering shaft fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 63,478.”
