Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“This complaint concerns a safety related recall issued by Maserati. I'm required to drive over 100 miles to the nearest authorized dealership to have the recall performed. No closer repair option, mobile repair, or alternative remedy was offered. Requiring this distance creates an unreasonable burden and discourages timely completion of a safety recall, potentially placing drivers at risk. Last year there was another re-call where I had to drive over 100 miles as well.”
