“CAR KEEPS LOCKING ITSELF, SOMETIMES WITH THE KEYS INSIDE. It is available for inspection. This issue is a major problem as the driver can be left stranded or if there are young children or pets in the car. The dealer has confirmed the problem and has no solution. We have tried all the lock settings to no avail. No warning signals from the car; we bought the vehicle used as a demo with 10,000km. Problems began immediately.”
NHTSA complaint #11665774, filed 2025-06“The vehicle was running and locked itself with the key inside, without the driver. I had to get the other key to unlock the vehicle and retrieve the key locked inside. While driving, the vehicle does not stay in the middle of the lane. The wheels pull to the left and right while driving, as if the driving assist is controlling the vehicle and pulling it to either side of the lane. I have to hold the steering wheel tightly to keep it from veering into the other lane.”
