NHTSA complaint #10915020, filed 2016-10, 55,000 miles“Takata recalls I was just informed that the recall fix I had installed was a temporary fix that NHTSA agreed to allow Mazda to perform on the vehicles, until the permanent fix is available sometime the summer of 2017. Why would you allow a temporary fix for a safety item such as an airbag ? When the previous air bag contained a canister that would explode with shrapnel ?? This is not morally or ethically a good decision to endanger anyone's life!”
