“The contact owns a 2001 Mazda Millenia. The contact stated that while attempting to engage the brakes, the engine stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the timing belt needed to be replaced. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.”
