“The contact owns a 2014 mercedes benz GLK350. The contact stated that while parking, the vehicle suddenly accelerated without any warning and crashed into another vehicle. The contact mentioned that she engaged the brakes but it failed to stop the vehicle. A police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 8,200.”

The contact applied the accelerator pedal while in reverse, but it did not respond and the warning light flashed. Suddenly, the vehicle reversed and crashed into the garage and a pole. The vehicle was stuck sideways. A flatbed tow truck was used to move the vehicle and the insurance company repaired the body damage. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for further inspection. …”
