NHTSA complaint #11339768, filed 2020-07, 98,000 miles“My engine light came on and my car began to idle really high when parked or at a stop in october. I went to two mercedes dealers to check on the issue. The second mercedes dealer/service center validated the first, explaining it was the engine balance crankshaft that was loose in the engine and it would cost $6000 to fix. I began to look on the internet to see if any recalls or issues like mine have occurred with others and I found I was not alone and a class action lawsuit had been filed.”
