“Dt: contact stated while driving on the interstate on 7-24-05 at a speed of 68 MPH the tread separated and the tire blew out. This was on the left rear tire. There was roughly 40,000 miles on a 60,000 rated tire. Also, had another tire separate, but not blow out last february 20-04 on the same set of tires. He replaced that tire under warranty. The recommended PSI I was 35. There were no lights to come on prior to tire failure. The consumer did feel a minor vibration and it blew within 200 yards.”
