So I took it to the dealer and they had to replace the front rotors and brake pads. Another three months passed and I experienced the same problem, it started to become a trend, almost every 3,000 miles I had to replace my rotors and brake pads. NHTSA complaint #708285, filed 1999-07“While driving braking system malfunctioned, causing pulsation and extended stopping distance which may result in an accident. Also, dealer replaced brake pads and rotors which have been replaced 5 times. The dealer will now no longer make repairs under warranty. Dealer said that the rotors are made of poor quality steel, which is causing the need for frequent brake repair.”
