“The contact owns a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage. The contact stated that while accelerating from a complete stop, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was shut down and jerked upon restarting. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who reprogrammed the transmission. A loud banging noise emitted after the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 1,100.”
