“The dashboard is starting to melt. I thought it was just dirty, but in fact, when I tried cleaning it, a sticky glue type substance came up. This has become a safety hazard as the shiny glare shines on the windshield making it hard to see. I did a basic search on the internet to find out that this is a common issue with my vehicle.”

My car has been broken into twice while parked in a secured access garage because they are able to open the door, snatch and grab. I read online that this is a safety issue because drivers should be able to lock their doors.”

Shows a light on the dash that looks like the key fob and looked it up and it says that something under the steering column can cause the issues and has a recall”

It looks as if it is melting. It is parked in the garage most of the time. The shinyness is reflecting on the windshield at times and makes it very dangerous to drive because I can't see through it very well.”

The dash has also become extremely sticky and hard to clean. The real issue is in the glare as it can lead to an accident. Unfortunately the dash was already like this when I purchased my vehicle so I am unaware of when it happened.”
