“Takata recall I've got 80000 miles on my car and the transmission speed sensor went out. So while driving in traffic my car stalled from going and it could've caused a accident or my life the CVT transmission needs checked thanks.”
NHTSA complaint #11228866, filed 2019-07, 79,898 miles“As my family and I were driving on the highway the vehicle started to drop speed from 70 miles to about 10 miles per hour. As I tried to speed up by accelerating, the speed would not go higher and would just continue to drop. The vehicles behind me were able to see I was having difficulty and would slow down when they got close and go around me, so I am glad no accidents happened since we were driving in heavy traffic in high speed when this started to occur. We drove like this for about 45 minutes since we were driving back home from out of town. …”
NHTSA complaint #11218890, filed 2019-06, 61,000 miles“Nov 2017, Altima had 18,173 miles, not one year old and the check engine light came on while drive it. Took it to dealer in san diego, diagnosis was a p0101 code (mass air flow sensor/orange pcv valve). Then at 20,598 miles, I saw my life flash before my eyes. I was driving on interstate 5 in southern california doing 72 MPH with a truck behind me and all of a sudden the Altima will not accelerate! Meanwhile the RPM's are jumping up and down. Again the dealer said it was code p0101, replaced the pcv valve again. Next at 20,833 miles the check engine light came back on. …”
NHTSA complaint #11138950, filed 2018-10, 18,172 miles“Crank shaft sensor malfunction. My car stop on me while driving on a city street. It shook and then shut down. Very scary. I had to get push out of the street by police cause I was in the way of traffic. Someone almost ran into me.”
