“Cruise control would not disengage. I had to turn it off using the rocker switch. When I turned it back on and tried to re-engage the cruise control the green cruise light pulsed made like a buzzing noise but did not engage. This only happens about once a month.”
NHTSA complaint #10088409, filed 2004-08, 60,000 miles“Engine continues to rev for between 10-20 seconds after accelerator has been released, was advised by Nissan to change 12 year old driving habits to fix problem (coast with vehicle in neutral and clutch out). This seems like a very dangerous driving practice one I will not follow. Was also told by one dealer vehicle would be fixed within 4-6 weeks (when the part arrived) other dealers denied any problem.”
