I haven't fixed it yet...cuz I ain't got the money. The vehicle was in motion on highway when light came on. There is no varying of light...stays on continually.”
NHTSA complaint #11289052, filed 2019-12, 55,000 miles“While operating vehicle the headlights become dim, after having the vehicle inspected the headlamp connector was melted and the wiring was overheated. The harness was replaced by a Nissan dealer and it melted again 3 weeks later. Nissan has had engineers and multiple diagnostic specialists look at this problem and have found no solution. It is obvious they have used to small of a wire on the ground and not supported it correctly in the connector as the melting always begins with the ground wire. This has occurred on over 500 trucks.”
