Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) actuators are bolted directly to the brake caliper. It has been detected that the factory retaining bolts lack a threadlocking compound (such as Loctite) to prevent them from backing out due to normal vehicle vibration. As a result, the bolts back out completely and fall off, causing the actuator to become loose and detach from the brake caliper.”

NHTSA complaint #11749782, filed 2026-07
