“My Nissan Murano has 122,000 miles on car and I have already spent a lot of money repairing CVT's, front end issues and had to purchase a new transmission. I was on the interstate and had to drive slow all the way to my home. No accident but Nissan Murano has a lot of issues with the front wheels and transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #10906131, filed 2016-09, 122,000 miles

“Bought the car 5 months ago. Was driving awesome. Brand new tires! Very well maintained with lots of paperwork stating work done on vehicle!..:well was driving it the other day with my 2 year old daughter and it started to over heat I immediately pulled over after going 60 MPH on the highway for over an hour. I'm now stuck on the highway with my toddler in the 80 degree weather when I just thought it was my radiator. The state police notice my rear 2 tires slanted , top leaning in bottom leaning out. …”

NHTSA complaint #11257468, filed 2019-09, 160,000 miles

“Noticed fluids on garage floor under my Nissan Murano. Upon checking fluid levels it was determined to be power steering fluid levels that were low. Further investigation indicated that the power steering hose was leaking. This has seemed to be a problem with the Nissan fleet as a whole, but as of yet no recalls have been initiated. This is a dangerous situation to be in because of the possible accidents that low fluid level poses and the possibility of initiating a fire.”

NHTSA complaint #10466699, filed 2012-07, 75,283 miles

“The rear subframe rusted off on drivers side. I financed this car only 10 months ago and now I can not drive it. It is very dangerous to drive, and the mechanic told me I should no longer drive it because of how dangerous it is. I have seen numerous complaints about people having the same rear subframe rusting. I can not afford to get it fixed and I’m still paying on the car. I got it for $7,500 and have put over $2,000 in it. I still have $4,500 left on it. …”
