NHTSA complaint #11083860, filed 2018-04, 190 miles“My Nissan Murano has 122,000 miles on car and I have already spent a lot of money repairing CVT's, front end issues and had to purchase a new transmission. I was on the interstate and had to drive slow all the way to my home. No accident but Nissan Murano has a lot of issues with the front wheels and transmission.”
NHTSA complaint #10906131, filed 2016-09, 122,000 miles“I have been driving 2007 Nissan Murano and when I drive the vehicle from a stop it jerk very badly and issue is with CVT transmission. As per Nissan dealership they will try to fix the CVT issue by changing the valve body and if this will not fix the issue then they will work on CVT transmission.”
NHTSA complaint #10994149, filed 2017-06, 91,100 miles“Started making a noise as a flat tire, I parked it. Next day I took it to the shop, Nissan dealership, they said is the transfer case and want $ 3,500 to fix it, I researched on this issue and found lots, too many people complaining of this issue, Nissan has to be aware of the bad quality of their product and assume the their part on it, or people will have to spend lots of money on this. Thank you”
NHTSA complaint #10672617, filed 2015-01, 162,000 miles“My Nissan starts to jerk from first gear or when I slow down and start to accelerate it makes a hard jerk like downshifting on a manual transmission and releasing clutch too fast. I research and there are a lot of public forums on this issue on sensors going bad to CVT fluid change to transmission issues. I took to my mechanic and they took it apart completely said had to replace the torque converter. So this will be a $1000 repair and I hope this will resolve the issue.”
