“While driving the vehicle automatically applied brakes even though there was nothing in front of me. There was a car in left lane but nothing in front. No crash this time but close to being rear ended. Also backing up i took my eyes off camera to look in mirror, there was a car behind me & BAM we collided. Not warning beep, no applying brakes when it should have.”

NHTSA complaint #11482160, filed 2022-08

“Last Nov.10 after my oil change to Nissan Van nuys Dealership within less than a mile, i got terrible experience,The Car was stop in the middle of the road and a red Solid oil pressure light show up on dashboard and The Gear shift from Drive to Neutral and get towed and bring back to dealer and after 4 days i pick up my car and now i can drive it again! But after couple of days and weeks? …”

NHTSA complaint #11558644, filed 2023-12

“The car delays start. When I press the push to start, the radio will come on but all the indicators will be lit but the car wouldn't start. Sometimes I have to press the start button multiple times. Forward collision warning sensor randomly turns off. Sensor will say malfunctioning at random times.”

NHTSA complaint #11457192, filed 2022-03

“While driving with the cruise control activated and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) turned on and also the ProPilot Assist and Speed Adjust by Route turned on, I have been on the highway (Speed limit 100km/h) and the vehicle reads the speed limit sign on the exit ramp (20km/h) and automatically reduces my speed even though I am not on the exit ramp. I have almost been hit from behind due to that sudden slow down. I have now turned some of those systems off until they come up with a software fix, very dangerous.”

NHTSA complaint #11547880, filed 2023-10

“The automatic collision breaking system light just came on. I turned it off and waited a while. I was fine for two days then came back on and stayed on. Took it to the dealer and they said I must have hit something because the sensors were not aligned. I explained I had hit nothing. There is no damage at all to the bumper. No accident reports no damage nothing but they insisted I “must have hit something.” Light when off again for about a day then came back on. Radio turns off and on randomly. Had an engine overheating after I turned the car on a 56 degree day.”
