NHTSA complaint #11721383, filed 2026-03“I bought a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum and the driver mirror shakes really bad going over 30 MPH. I have reached out to Nissan of North America and they said this is normal. I have talked to a master mechanic with Nissan and this is a well known issue. My wife and I test drove all the Platinum models at our local dealership and they all do this some worse than others. This is a massive safety issue especially when driving down the highway it gets ever worse and if you hit any kind of bump you cant see clearly out the mirror.”
NHTSA complaint #11708426, filed 2026-01“I purchased the car in June 2025 and the sunroof exploded while I was driving down the highway in Dec. 2025. The explosion scared me, the driver. Shattered glass covered me, my front passenger, and my adult son in the back seat. He was bleeding on his hand with a minor cut. My sunroof was replaced in January 2025 after 14 days in the shop. It was leaking again in March so my roof was ripped apart again with 10 days in the shop. It leaked again in June 2025. There was not warning. It just exploded with a huge noise. I know this has happended to Pathfinders.”

The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was not repaired.
