“Air conditioner stop working after just over 3yrs. ? Is this normal? This did not happen while vehicle was under warranty but just after warranty had expired in nov. 2009. My alternator went first ( around june 2009 est. ) then my air conditioner around sept. 2009.”

“Nissan Quest 2006 sl 40,000 miles my shift lever stuck in park even though I am pressing the brakes and they told me at the dealer to use a screwdriver to override the shift which I think is a hazard or to replace the total shift. But I told them its a manufacture defect and they have to pay for it. Also like to mention that they have a very bad customer service. This is my 2nd car with Nissan I use to have the 1999 Quest. But I will never buy Nissan cars any more.”

NHTSA complaint #10446559, filed 2012-02, 39,500 miles

“Car has been bought in 2010, it had all the time suspension problems, now appeared A/C cooling system is not working. Does it have any warranty for it? Vehicle has about 115,000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #10604365, filed 2014-06, 114,000 miles

“The fan under the dash which blows the air through the front vents has stopped functioning after making odd noises. The fan controlling the air flow in the back passenger section works correctly.”

NHTSA complaint #10232007, filed 2008-06, 47,360 miles

“We have a 2006 Nissan Quest with 85,000 miles on it. For a while we have been hearing a whine when we accelerate. We have been told that we will need to replace the timing chain for about $2,700. When I started to research this it seems like this a common enough issue that it needs to be looked into. Timing chains should not have any issues till atleast 200,000 miles.”
