During my last visit to oniel Nissan located in warminster, pa in 1st week of february 2006 I mentioned to service department. Their answer was no problem detected. Last week of february 2006 I drop my van to same dealership for safety recall repair for rear of the second row seat again I mentioned about rotten egg samell inside van. I received same answer that, no problem was detected . …”

NHTSA complaint #10316017, filed 2010-03“The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Quest. While driving 65 MPH the contact drove over a small object and punctured the fuel tank. The dealer stated that an identical failure occurred on the Nissan murano ,and was remedied by placing a shield on the fuel tank. The dealer inspected the vehicle, and replaced the fuel tank. The current and failure mileage were 3,500.”
