“On different occasions, when attempting to drive from 0mph, the vehicle will not accelerate. I have to turn it off then turn it back on then usually it will work. Also sometimes it won't start it turns over strong but will not crank. I'll wait several minutes or so then attempted again then it will crank and drive normal.”

NHTSA complaint #11030410, filed 2017-09, 160,000 miles

“Nissan Quest cluster loses ability to moniter fuel and temperature , which caused me to run out of fuel while travelling at a speed of 55mph. After researching online I see there is a repair but how does the dealer not see an issue with this problem. The lcd screen essentially peel away from the screen due to heat or humidity . I see this as a danger and I feel it puts my family along with others in danger .”

NHTSA complaint #10748245, filed 2015-08, 130,000 miles

“We bought our brand new 2004 Nissan Quest s on 7-30-04. The next day it ran very sluggish and would not accelerate up to adequete speed from a stop. It stalled out twice and the check engine light came on. Dealer had to replace fuel injector, fuel pump and some kind of gasket. They also ordered us a new vehicle and was very cooperative and helpful. I did not want to have to worry the next 10 years if my car was going to break down with my small children. This is not my expectation of a brand new vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10086993, filed 2004-08, 78 miles

“Purchased 2004 Nissan Quest 3.5 sl 3/13/04. Experienced problems with car starting during first week. Requested full check of engine. Took to dealership for custom package. Upgrade and engine diagnostic during 2nd week. Was not done! Beginning 3rd week car would not start. Dealership towed and supposedly fixed. Received. Vehicle following day 4/02/04. On the way home from dealership, car suddenly died in a turn on a major intersection during rush hour. Nearly hit a car and a curb before I could stop vehicle. My children were onboard! …”

NHTSA complaint #10113854, filed 2005-03, 80 miles

“The air bag light glitches on the dashboard, it turns on and off. The only windows that open are the front door windows, the back side windows could barely crack open && the temperature inside the vehicle with the windows open reach dangerously high temperatures that literally are harmful and dangerous. A family vehicle with no ability to open any window on the 2 sliding doors, can lead to very high temperatures even though the front 2 windows open is still not enough for air to reach passengers who sit in the middle-row especially passengers who sit on the 3rd row seat in the back of the van. …”
