“My Nissan Rogue has a vibration issue that is noticeable when the car is resting at a red light, and while driving. You can see the passenger chair vibrating and the dashbard is noticeable when my GPS unit is mounted onto it. I took it to bayridge Nissan inc, in brooklyn, ny -this is the dealer that I purchased Rogue from , don't know if this problem is a safety defect . Dealership says no fix for it.”
NHTSA complaint #10717131, filed 2015-05, 2,000 miles“I was driving back home from from the store my two year old daughter was in the back seat in the car seat properly strapped. The drive is about a ten minute drive back to our home. As I was driving I noticed my daughter hit very quite when I️ turned around she had wrapped the adult shoulder seat belt strap around her neck three times and was starting to choke. Currently I am nine months pregnant as had to untangle her while I was driving to keep her from choking. …”
NHTSA complaint #11045322, filed 2017-11, 2 miles“This complaint pertains 2015 Nissan Rogue sv trim with third-row seat. After using it for a few months, I have found that the design of the adjustment mechanism of third row seat is such that it can cause/aggravate back pain resulting from a regular use of the strap pull/push provided. This could be a serious issue for people with history of or those prone to back pain. I have brought this to the notice of Nissan but so far they have refused to get it objectively assessed.”
NHTSA complaint #10671644, filed 2015-01, 2,400 miles“Driver's seat shift backwards and forwards during hard acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says that they notice it but can't do anything except tighten the bolts, which doesn't make a difference. It seems to be a common problem, and it would be very distracting in a real emergency.”
NHTSA complaint #11413021, filed 2021-04, 50,000 miles“1)when use defrost system window stays moist and does not clear until 30-60 mins causing it very difficult to see. 2)front driver's seat and passenger's seat is too close to console and scrubs against center console when moving seat back and forth. 3)vehicle smells of anti-freeze when enters vehicle. Also for auto to be a 4-cylinder it burns gas quickly. Because the center gear does not lock, it's too easy to mistakenly knock gear out of mode while driving I.e. Goes from drive to low or neutral without effort. …”
