“2015 Nissan Sentra s at 65,000 miles on four random occassions within the past six months I have experienced these two issues while driving the highway at 70 MPH, loss of power and hwy stalling. This vehicle's transmission should not be creating this. I have had to stop driving on the highway due to this. Transmission/hwy loss of power while accelerating”

NHTSA complaint #11343989, filed 2020-08, 64,250 miles

“Takata recall my transmission has gone twice in 4 years of having a brand new car. First time within a month. No warning lights, nothing. All of a sudden my car starts sputtering, won't accelerate and starts going in reverse while in drive. My car is not drivable at this point and had to be left in another state”

NHTSA complaint #11220721, filed 2019-06, 104,800 miles

“Took my car in for a whining sound. Was told at Nissan hwy 96 in warner robins that I needed a transmission and that my warranty expired at 60000 miles. My car loose power on incline and is making a whining sound. Sluggish in changing gears and just seems to slow down even when I am pushing the gas .”

NHTSA complaint #11222869, filed 2019-06, 78,500 miles

“The car will switch gears when I'm driving. It has happened multiple times - the last time was this weekend when I was traveling. I was driving on the interstate, up a mountain. All of the sudden the car started decelerating as I was going up the mountain. The gear shift caused the car to dramatically slow down and almost caused a multi-car pileup because there was a lot of traffic.”

NHTSA complaint #11132943, filed 2018-10, 71,846 miles

“Check engine light keeps coming on for a airflow issue. While driving the acceleration feels completely off as if it slows down or drags in one gear and has hard time switching. I am not to sure what is going on but I am now afraid to transport or drive my personal vehicle on an upcoming 4 hour trip.I drive mostly local roads minimal highway. I am a very busy person and need guidance on how I should move forward please.”
