“Car will just randomly stall in the middle of traffic I loose a power or stealing then will slowly come to a stop my breaks lock and car start clicking then shuts off. Once I sit for a bit restart it it will start up like nothing happend it had happend to me twice in less the two weeks apart. Both times happend when car ran for about 10-20 mins with no movement then once I start driving it occurs.”

NHTSA complaint #11349954, filed 2020-08, 36,000 miles

“When braking from high speeds the car shakes and does not want to stop. I put both of my feet on the pedal as hard as I can. This happens unexpectedly and not all of the time. When just driving around town breaking is fine. No shake in the pedals. I took it to a dealership and they couldn't find a code. I also took to the mechanic ( afc certified). They said my pads are at 60% and the rotors were in good condition.”

NHTSA complaint #11279745, filed 2019-11, 28,000 miles

“Applied the brakes to the floor and it slid on an inclined road after being in a complete stop, resulting in rear ended straight the front vehicle. Air bags deployed causing burns and seat belt bruises. The force was significant enough to bend a metal bar. I can't explain how the inclined surface didn't even help stop the car for it seems to still be going instead of stopping. It shouldn't have been such a bad impact since gravity and friction where working to stop the car. I can't explain it.”

NHTSA complaint #10721562, filed 2015-05, 1,200 miles

“The first issue occurred july 18. During my trip to virginia, I began to lose braking. The car would then shut off. I was entering into arlington, in a high traffic area. This issue was dangerous to me and other drivers. Eventually, the car shut off every time I braked. It was towed to passport Nissan in va, where it was diagnosed as transmission/torque converter issues. The next event occurred on pulaski highway in maryland during rush hour. I pulled out of a convenience store, went to accelerate, and the car would not move. The engine was fully engaged. Again, it was towed. …”

NHTSA complaint #10892661, filed 2016-08, 14,000 miles

“Cvt transmission problems. Vehicle was jerking, would change shifts, didn't want to go over 20 and then couldn't get it to run. Car turned off on its own at a light. This happened on the freeway putting in danger since dropped speed and had hard time going up bridges. Then it did it in city limits. Stop signs and at lights.”
