“Takata recall ive suffered what I believe long term fuel inhalation I have had severe memory loss I went from having a home to staying in a motel becuase the fuel I was unknowingly inhaling for god knows how long cause me to lose conciousness even halucinate everyone assumed I was on drugs assumed I had a mental condition when turns out. …”

NHTSA complaint #11197070, filed 2019-04, 10 miles

“As I was driving or turning, car would hesitate, speed would drop even though foot still on accelerator. Turns out had moisture in driver's brake light which caused car switch to brake thereby causing jerking hesitation. Dangerous because even though car slowed down, brake lights not lit, dangerous to drivers behind me. Light replaced due to seal allowing moisture in.”

NHTSA complaint #11219403, filed 2019-06, 43,493 miles

“I was driving straight. I saw a car in front of me, and began to brake. As I depressed the brake pedal as I normally do, the car was not slowing down, so I quickly pressed it further. Finally the car had stopped after the brake pedal was all the way to the floor. I can consistently replicate this issue. I will contact the dealer today.”

NHTSA complaint #10629686, filed 2014-08, 16,150 miles

“I am owner of a 2014 Nissan centra. I started getting problems with my brakes. I notoced that when I press on the brakes, the petals go all the way to the floor. My car only has 50,000 miles. I took it for an inspection to my personal mechanic and they replaced the master cylinder twice and I still have the same problem. Does anybody know if there is a recall for this kind of problem for this car. The problem happens anytime, either with the car on, in motion or not in motion.”

NHTSA complaint #11342742, filed 2020-08, 20 miles

“Brakes are very weak for being a light weight vehicle. Stopping power is very underwhelming. Coming to a complete stop even after cruising speeds makes me feel anxious...my vehicle only has 10,066 miles on the odometer but the braking power feels very underwhelming for a fairly new low mileage vehicle.”
