“I want to put on record that the rear camera system is not able to be adjusted to a point where you can visually see after dark. To further the issue, The reverse lamps are not adequately bright enough to safely back up using the mirrors at night. I do understand this is the last model year for this vehicle however there is surely an issue that can be resolved by Nissan. After having the issue myself I had looked online and find a disturbing amount of complaints related to the issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11626558, filed 2024-11“The vehicle lurches forward during stopping for a traffic light, stop sign, etc. Feels like a possible transmission issue, like a hard downshift, but the lurch is a safety issue. Has been happeneing since the truck was purchased, and the dealer service has been unable to resolve. Service manager drove in the truck and confirmed the jolt forward. Forums indicate this issue is occurring with other 2024 Titan trucks. The lurch forward can interfere with stopping distance since the lurch is stronger than the braking efficiency during that sudden jolt. …”
