“I have a 2007 Nissan sentra. Shortly after buying it the tire pressure sensor light came on. I took it to pepp boys and spent money replacing the sensor on the wheel. The light has never gone off. All four window seals have come loose. The AC has stopped working. The fan will not work for a couple of days and then all of the sudden I will turn on on the car and it work one moment.”

“Took my car to the garage to have it inspected and was told I was going to need my engine cradle/ subframe replaced. When I took it to the garage to get it fixed he told me it should not have rusted out that bad for a 2007 and was surprised to find no recall on this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11130769, filed 2018-09, 127,859 miles

“My muffler on my 2007 Versa rotted off the main pipe. After doing some research I found out this is a common problem with the versas. Why is Nissan not recalling these faulty parts. Now I have to shop around and hope to get a good price with replacing the muffler. I am sure I will be back and say the tail pipe had to be replaced because many people have replaced that part already too.”

NHTSA complaint #10460201, filed 2012-05, 83,000 miles

“The door handle on the driver's side of my 2007 Nissan Versa came off in to my hand when I went to open the car door. This car has 38,807 miles on it.you can not open the driver's door from the outside and are reduced to crawling in over the gear shift from the passengers side to get in to the driver's seat. I am concerned that the driver's door can not be opened from the outside in case of an emergency or an accident.. Oddly enough I saw a girl in a shopping center yesterday. The driver's side door handle was missing from her care which is just like mine and I stopped to talk with her.. …”

NHTSA complaint #10521169, filed 2013-06, 38,802 miles

“On 11/11/11 my Versa s lost it's front right hubcap while driving to work, I was driving on a paved rural road and a gust of wind took it off (no bumps). Five days later my front left hubcap came loose in traffic causing drivers behind to swerve and brake to avoid it. During the incident on 11/11 the entire hubcap was lost (spring steel frame & plastic cover), during the incident on 11/16 the steel retainer and 6 connecting (ribs) were left attached to the wheel while the plastic disc part of the hubcap sheered away. Please contact me for pictures, or failed components, of the 2nd incident.”
