“I have a 1990 Grand Voyager minivan that that has developed a fuel leak on the 3.3 liter v6. The leak is from the seal on the fuel rail crossover tube that goes from the front head to the rear head of the engine. I discovered it leaking fuel at a rate of several drops per second. On the NHTSA web site, recall campaign 00v268000 describes the following: ''defect summary: vehicle description: mini vans built with 3.3l and 3.8l engines have fuel rails with nitrole rubber o-ring seals that can degrade over time. …”

NHTSA complaint #10002620, filed 2003-01, 113,500 miles

“There is a problems with either the electrical or fuel system in my 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager. As I am driving down the road at a speed from 35mph on up to 65mph, my van has a hiccup . It feels like someone either turns the ignition switch off or steps hard on the brake. It feels like it jerks inside but I cannot tell if it jerks on outside. It does not happen ever time driving. It has been looked at and no problems have been found by the auto mechanic. They have even driven the van and have felt the problem. It started doing this about 2 to 3 years ago. …”

NHTSA complaint #10052503, filed 2004-01

“We were almost killed several times when the car stopped dead on highways. Each time we brought it to a dealer, they never found anything wrong because after a while the car would run again. Finally when we were out off warranty and out of the extra coverage we had purchased, we were on our own. We changed the fuel pump/we had new wiring installed and the car still died frquently. It's now sitting on our driveway dead. Also, rack and pinion went. It was always a problem.we met other people with the same problems who could and did change their vehicles.”

NHTSA complaint #701193, filed 1999-01

“Fuel rail leak. Nhtsa recall 00v268000 describes a fuel rail leak recall that applies to 1996-2000 minivans with 3.3 and 3.8 engines. I have a 1990 Grand Voyager 3.3l which has developed the same leak on the fuel rail cross-over tube. Chrysler declines to cover this as outside the recall dates. Dealer quotes $768 for rapair. Rest of vehicle has been worst piece of junk ever owned.”

NHTSA complaint #10069840, filed 2004-01

“Fuel odor was coming into the vehicle while driving. Vehicle taken to dealer, and informed that fuel was leaking from the fuel o ring. Feel free to provide any further information.”
