“Gm is great at sending out letters to get the airbag problem fixed, but the GM dealerships don't seem so willing to do the work. I contacted feldman chevrolet a few weeks ago to get it fixed. They indicated that they would need to order parts, then they would call me to schedule the repair. I never heard from them again!”

NHTSA complaint #11174970, filed 2019-02, 60,000 miles

“Takata recall I received a recall notice in the mail in march - almost 4 months ago. I already was aware of this issue because of an article printed in my local newspaper in 2016 and had verified my car had been affected via my VIN. I believe it is past time for GM fix my car. Please respond and let me know where I should take my car to fix this problem”

NHTSA complaint #11002912, filed 2017-07, 90,000 miles

“I received a letter from Pontiac, dated march 2017, about a defect in my vehicle airbags. A remedy is still not available. I drive my car every day to work, but I have not taken anyone as a passenger because I am afraid of them getting injured, not to mention myself. What is the problem that they can't fix this? Is this legal for them to not have a remedy yet?”

NHTSA complaint #11023830, filed 2017-09, 100,000 miles

“Takata recall: I have been working with the luther brookdale chevrolet dealership in minnesota to have my airbag inflator repaired. The dealership continues to tell me that parts are not available. The car was recalled on january 10th 2017 it is now december 2017. It seems that this issue is not being dealt with in a timely manner.”

NHTSA complaint #11053594, filed 2017-12, 113,000 miles

“Takata recall on march 16 2017 I got a recall letter for the passenger airbag. I have made many calls to GM with no results. I cannot have a passenger in the front seat because if the airbag goes off they could be hurt or killed. Gm said they don't have a remedy yet. How long do I have to wait ? I 'm thinking about selling the car so I can drive with my wife in the car.”
