Example complaints

Forward collision avoidance: “On 3 separate occasions while making a left hand turn against traffic, the car has initiated emergency braking and shown the ‘collision warning’ alert on the dashboard. Each time there were no cars approaching and the car halted to a complete stop. The first two instances I had my 10 year old in the car. Tonight I was alone. It is terrifying and I know this is not a rare occurrence with Porsches. An online forum has tons of other Porsche owners saying the same thing and we are being encouraged to file a report with NHTSA.”

NHTSA complaint #11736422, filed 2026-05

Electrical system: “2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe. The surround-view and rear backup camera system repeatedly fails. The screen goes completely black, including when shifting into reverse. The Coupe's shortened, sloped rear window creates major blind spots, so the driver depends on the cameras. When they fail, there is effectively no rear visibility. First reported to the dealer 08/20/2026. Each time the cameras fail, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth also fail and remain unusable, leaving no hands-free phone or navigation while driving. …”
