Example complaints

Other or unknown: “Complaint regarding a battery-monitoring/sensor issue, 2019 Porsche Cayenne and Porsche’s subsequent handling of the related repair. On May 22, 2023, at approximately 27,625 miles, my 2019 Porsche Cayenne was serviced by Fox Valley Porsche under Repair Order 103905. While driving a “battery charging warning.” showed, I was very scared. Dealer diagnosed a battery sensor failure and replaced the 12-volt battery. The invoice shows a battery charge of $1,957.87, plus labor. …”

NHTSA complaint #11766002, filed 2026-09

Air bags: “the dashboard has a fitted leather coating covering the airbag... the leather and its surrounding seals has melted.. almost entirely.. and it is rippled and uneven all around... this is widespread for these models and may cause problems with the airbag in the dash...the airbag has to be able to deploy without any problems.. the dash should be fixed so it is safe”

NHTSA complaint #11655986, filed 2025-04

Electrical system: “Last year around january, adaptive cruse control stop working after dealer fixed almost closing a collision ( vehicle in motion), today park assist stop working 360 degree view completely off and no sound of proximity obstacles, ( vehicle in motion pulling of parking lot)”

NHTSA complaint #11388914, filed 2021-01, 8,000 miles

Engine: “The Waste Gate Arm has broken on my 2019 Cayenne. This is a widely known issue with Porsches. Feels like this needs a recall. It is absurd to me that the dealers want to replace the whole turbo unit at $7-9k when a simple weld can fix. I am 6 months out of the 7 year warranty but under the 70k mileage. I am pushing the dealer to work this out. But it is crazy that Porsche isn’t held accountable for a design flaw.”
