What NHTSA recorded

The blades in the brake vacuum booster pump can wear prematurely, causing reduced brake assist pressure when the brake pedal is applied.

Possible consequence

Reduced brake assist could result in increased stoppingdistance and a vehicle accident.

Remedy

Replace the brake vacuum booster pump with a newly developed brake vacuum booster valve assembly.

Pages for each model year show complaints, parts, mileage and other recalls.
