“Driver side low beam light headlight does not work all the time on my 2009 Saturn Outlook that I just purchased on april 5th, 2011. After researching the problem and trying to fix the issue myself, found that there have many numerous reports of the wiring harness being wrong wire gauge that GM placed on this vehicle. It is very difficult to change the bulbs, having to remove front bumper and/or the undercover of the driver side fender well. …”
NHTSA complaint #10398412, filed 2011-05, 47,800 miles“I took my 2009 Saturn Outlook xe to the GM service center yesterday only to find out at 45000 my steering rack and pump needs to be replaced at $1300 +. Also, my timing chain is gone. My air conditioner stopped blowing cold air for the second time and lastly when I turn on my defrost it comes out at my feet. The air and the defrost I am still waiting for them to figure out the problem. How can GM get away with this. I haven't even reached 50000 miles and my car needs close to $5000 in repairs. …”
NHTSA complaint #10545094, filed 2013-09, 45,800 miles“Driver's side windshield wiper failure. This was a recall for Saturn Outlook in 2007 - 2008. This is the same failure as that recall. The Outlook 2009 should have been included in this recall. Luckily it failed in my driveway.”
