“I received notice that my vehicle had been recalled and contacted my dealer airport chevrolet in medford oregon for an appointment to get it repaired. It has now been about two months and the dealer is still claiming that they have not received the necessary parts. It seems to me that general motors is dragging their feet, two months is longer than it takes to receive a special order car.”
NHTSA complaint #10607988, filed 2014-07, 35,000 miles“Everytime I start my vehicle I get the following messages on the control panel. Service airbag, service traction control, ESC off/disabled. There has been no accidents on the vehicle but lack of ESC makes controlling the rwd performance vehicle difficult, in addition the service airbag message is further reason for concern.”
NHTSA complaint #10545018, filed 2013-09, 70,000 miles“After a GM ignition recall on Saturn SKY--we received notice and took our car to the GM shop to do the work. However now the airbag warning light stays on---we did much research and replaced the passenger side seat cushion and sensor-----this did not result in the airbag warning light going off--we took it to the GM dealer to do a diagnostic to see why the seat/sensor replacement did not fix the problem and they state the seat is properly installed and it is not causing the airbag warning light issue---but they did not tell us what was the diagnosed problem. …”
NHTSA complaint #10873779, filed 2016-06, 75,000 miles“Driving 35 miles an hour I noticed passenger side airbag warning light appeared on dash, when I took car to GM dealer they said it would cost 900 dollars to replace.”
NHTSA complaint #10616519, filed 2014-07, 41,000 miles“The wiring for the HVAC blower motor melted at the connection to the resistor pack that controls the blower motor speed. You could smell melting plastic. Luckily this did not start the wiring harness on fire as the fuse for the circuit did not open. Further investigation shows this is be a known problem on hummer h3, Saturn SKY, and pontiac solstice vehicle also as they share the same parts in model years 2006 - 2010. …”
