The failure occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to dealer where it was diagnosed that the short block needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 110,000.”

While driving at approximately 40 MPH, the bearing to the water pump fractured and caused the drive belt to fracture. In addition, the engine stalled. The vehicle was not able to restart. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the water pump bearing failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was not provided. The approximate failure mileage was 116,000.”
