“Oil light came on and had to add 1 quart of oil after about 4000 miles since previous oil change. The car takes synthetic oil and is supposed to go 7500 miles between oil changes. Since then, we have had to add oil in between oil changes several times, approximately 1-2 quarts every 1500 to 3000 miles. Subaru dealer says this is normal; however, we have never had this problem with any other vehicle. We are concerned about damage to the motor by this continuing to happen. The car was bought new and only has 23,000 miles on it.”
