“I bought this car used at 98000 miles in 2011 and since then I have had airbag light staying on every 4-6months or so ( the drive side)...then I would take it in to the dealership and they would replace the censor, etc and reset it. Am really frustrated with this, there must be a faulty sensor/part of the airbag with 2006 Suzuki florenza airbag.”
NHTSA complaint #10724722, filed 2015-06, 98,000 miles“When I was driving on the road my airbag from behind on the driver seat busted and my head hit the steering wheel and I stopped in the middle of the road , not knowing what was going on and my I seen smoke coming from the side of my driver seat, and I seen my air bag had busted on it own.”
NHTSA complaint #10668781, filed 2014-12, 50 miles“I bought a used 2006 Forenza sedan and a few days later, the transmission range sensor went out. I just researched and there are several complaints about this issue. Also, the airbag light turned on. Suzuki need to own up to this problem and fix it. Also the 02 sensor went and needs replacement. What is going on.”
NHTSA complaint #10483533, filed 2012-11, 125,000 miles“Air bag light has been on since I purchased the car. I have contacted Suzuki several times regarding it and they say it is normal. Or I can pay to have it diagnosed. It is a safety issue. Suzuki customer service is horrible. I have signed myself up for a class action law suit.”
NHTSA complaint #10555713, filed 2013-12, 33,000 miles“Suzuki Forenza in front end collision with jeep wrangler. Forenza suffered front end damage. The airbags in the Forenza did not deploy. The drivers side seat belt in the Forenza did not lock when I slammed on the brakes, which LED to me slamming against the steering wheel.”
