“Consumer 2005 RENO s used 35 gallons of gas in the first 688 miles. The window sticker stated that the vehicle should receive 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. The vehicle gets on average 19 mpg. The consumer has complained to the dealer three times. The driver's side door was out of alignment. The consumer also has issues with the vehicle's transmission and exterior workmanship.”

The conditions had to be just right for it to happen. I am referring to the hood becoming unlatched while driving around 70mph with hard wind gusts to the left side of the car. It felt like the car would slightly twist and then the hood would automatically release and catch on the secondary latch. If the secondary latch was to slip before stopping the car then the hood would slam into the windshield. …”
