“I went to go get my car checked out at a local auto parts store. Turned on my car and when I was on drive it was showing something weird on it when I put it on different gears they would not go in order. Such as if it was in park it would show a d for drive or if it was in reverse it would show 3rd gear and so on. Whenever I would change gears it would kick really nasty and shake alot and I would have to push the gas just so I could move. The employee then used a check engine light device and I had an o2 sensor issue and a transmission range sensor issue.”
NHTSA complaint #10441695, filed 2011-12, 183,356 miles“I got my car in may, 2006. It was brand new when I bought it, but it was in the shop only six days after. I began to notice that my car would jerk when it was shifting gears (although it was an automatic). Over about a week's time, it got much worse and I had to bring it in for repairs. I was told that the transmission had not been updated. I brought it back three more times with the same problem. The 4th time I brought it back, it was so bad that not only was it jerking while shifting, but while staying at a steady speed as well. …”
