“The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki SX4. The contact stated that while in reverse and backing into a parking space, the vehicle suddenly experienced unintended acceleration causing the vehicle to drive over a curb and crash into a fence. The contact indicated that while pressing the brake pedal the vehicle accelerated. During the incident, no injuries were reported. No police report was taken. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 44,000.”

He took the vehicle to the dealer twice, but the failure remains. He also stated that the brakes extend to the floor when trying to stop the vehicle. The brakes have to be pumped in order to stop. This failure occurs at any speed. The dealer replaced the master cylinder. The VIN was unknown. The current mileage was 11,000 and failure mileage was 15.”
