“Whenever I cancel FSD in this Tesla for any reason, a highly distracting ‘forced feedback’ panel pops up on the single information screen, obstruction critical information. It only disappears when I select one of 4 feedback options, blocking my information screen view all that time. I am a regular driver, not a trained beta tester.”

NHTSA complaint #11751290, filed 2026-07

“I subscribe to tesla FSD and there's a pop up window every time I disengaged from FSD. There's no way to systematically stop it from popping up. It is a serious distraction from driving, as it blocks part of the map and causes me thinking there's something wrong with the car. I want a way to stop it from popping up.”

NHTSA complaint #11766595, filed 2026-09

“Tesla has told me the AP4 computer has failed in my car which has resulted in them having to replace it. I had this issue start right around Thanksgiving. I scheduled the soonest appointment available for 01/03. Not offering me a rental or anything on my brand new '24 Tesla. It has just over 1,000 miles on it and is ~1 months old now. …”

NHTSA complaint #11631121, filed 2024-12

“During my trip, traveling at speeds ranging from ~30 to ~75mph my car suddenly and with no advance warning braked to a full stop, four separate times. I was not using cruise control or any driver assisted features. There were no obstacles in the road. I did not get in an accident because there were no other cars near me on the two different roads I traveled on.”

NHTSA complaint #11595227, filed 2024-06

“I was using the Tesla FSD in stop and go traffic. At the moment I was moving with traffic at about 30 mph and then traffic started slowing down. The vehicle in front of me came to a complete stop. The FSD on my car started slowing down, but not fast enough. It rear-ended the vehicle at about 18 mph.”
