“I had a passenger who remarked that there was a sulfur smell in passenger compartment of car when recirculation air is switched on. I had noticed it before but didn't know what to think about it. I've had lots of migraine headaches over the past 5 months. When I mentioned to a mechanic he said it was probably due to the sulfur dioxide poisoning me.”

NHTSA complaint #10115992, filed 2005-03, 77,000 miles

“Engine oil has a tendancy to get milky after 2,000 miles from previous oil change. Steps taken to avoid this problem were as follows: 1. Oil changes to semi synthetic or all synthetic oil. 2. Change oil & filter at 2,000 mile intervals at sustained temperatures below freezing. 3. Driving habits to avoid a series of short trips, by schudling 30-45 minute highway run weekly. ( when ever possible) I was alarmed by the re-occuring look of the oil and the dirty condition under the oil filler cap ( engine not hot enough, long enough?) . …”

NHTSA complaint #10070300, filed 2004-01, 24,697 miles
