“The last time that I took my oil in to be changed, I was told that I was 3 quarts low and to check it every week as this year and model have been having issues with the oil burning up. I am just about due to take my car in again for another oil change and I have already had to add 2 quarts of oil in between changes. I have less than 50,000 miles on my car,”

If you turn the engine off and turn the engine back on it will make the noise even press the gas pedal it gets a louder clapping. I get my every oil change at 5,000 miles. My vehicle shouldn't be making this noise.”
