2008 Toyota Corolla Suspension Problems

“Purchased my Corolla '08 model 6 pm on dec. 7th '08. During the following week I called the dealer because I was having difficulty keeping the car in a straight line it felt like the wind was blowing me left then right. But there wasn't wind. Like it was possessed, it veered off road on december 29th, 2008. The tire blew out and the fender crumpled which left a dent. Scared me to death, I took it in to the dealer repair shop and they made it look like it was my fault and that what I was saying was impossible. The repair tech took the car for a ride and suggested new tires in the front. …”

“Takata recall. The contact owned a 2008 Toyota Corolla. While driving approximately 30 MPH, the front end of the vehicle collapsed violently to the ground. The failure caused the front passenger and driver side curtain air bags to deploy; however, both front air bags did not deploy. The front axle fractured and caused the front passenger side tire to be positioned outwardly. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to an independent mechanic. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The VIN was included in and repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 16v127000 (air bags). …”

“I found out the car I purchased from a dealer is giving me problems with the tires beaks and alignment. The car had wrong size tires , the breaks were uneven also when I would drive over a puddle it would shake. I spend money on getting new tires paying for alignment and the problems continues, I found the axle and power steering rack with part problems. That need fixing also the steering wheel is not centered and the wheel hub has broken its bolts I think its a faulty manufacture issue. …”

“As I was driving my 2008 Toyota Corolla through the intersection of illinois route 60 in vernon hills on march, 17,2010 my vehicle's check engine light became activated and my car completely shut down in traffic almost creating a traffic accident . The car would not re-start after about 10 seconds,however, would restart after appx.30 seconds on the second start attempt. I drove the car to my personal repair shop whom gave be a diagnostic fault code of p0607.(faulty ecu) note:the right front strut assembly and water pump has also went out since this car has been under warranty.”
