NHTSA complaint #10045157, filed 2003-10, 130,000 miles“I began to have issues w/engine and notified prior owner and advised me received notice of recall for head gasket, immediately called local dealer regarding recall and they claimed vehicle had been serviced already (in another state) and nothing they could do, but owner state that is false he owned vehicle at that time and he had never took in for service recall. In the meantime condition got worse, and now leaking water and head gasket needs replaced. The dealer won't service it, Toyota customer care is nonresponsive. …”
