Since it was brief I thought nothing of it. Later, on a Victory specific website someone posted that the rear section of their front fender had broken free and become lodged in the steering in such a way sat to prevent turning the handle bars. Remembering the odd sound from an earlier ride I checked my bike and found my front fender (rear section) had cracked and was loose. My assumption is that the sound I heard was the plastic rubbing the tire when it first broke loose.”
