“Takata recall. And also have the 20ae recall which is an interruption in electrical power to the fuel pump control module. My vehicle was in motion when it suddenly stopped and turned off in the middle of the road. Leaving me 9 months pregnant straded in the middle lf the road with my 4 year old in the back seat on our way to take her to school.”

NHTSA complaint #11039362, filed 2017-10, 66,000 miles

“I have had vw CC's since 2009 and have been trading them in for a new model each year. Upon getting a 2013 vw CC I returned to the dealer the within 72 hours of purchasing the car as I have been having stalling issues at low speeds (especially while turning) due to the nature of the dsg transmission. I have brought my vehicle back several times in regards to the same issue. …”

NHTSA complaint #10605486, filed 2014-06, 36 miles

“As of november 2017 my Volkswagen CC has become inoperable and a safety hazard due to the fuel pump control module - recall 20ae. At any given time why driving my car will completely shut off in traffic daily/consistently. Notices were sent out to us in october about recall but still says no repair information available at this time. Dealer has yet to resolve issue. Under my rights it's unfair and I should have to pay for this to be fixed in which there is a pending recall. This is a very urgent matter which should not be stalled off nor delayed any longer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11045456, filed 2017-11, 124,000 miles

“The vehicle began showing signs of malfunction in august of 2012 (vehicle was leased the end of june) when it would take several attempts to start the vehicle and once started the vehicle would occasional cut off or run really rough for about 30 minutes. The engine light stayed illuminated for 2 days. I took the car to the dealer to have it serviced and after 2 days they were unable to replicate the problem. Returned vehicle to me with no resolution. Car ran fine for 4 months then on december 17th the same issues began to occur but more severe this time. …”

NHTSA complaint #10492957, filed 2013-01, 5,700 miles

“Car has stalled 2x while driving on a highway. When trying to accelerate, the car will buck and hesitate at about 2k to 3k RPM and have virtually 0 acceleration. The epc light will kick on and then the car has slower acceleration but it does not buck and hesitate. The issue happens when the car is cold and warming up. When the car stalled, I was downshifting, and then the battery light came on. The car just died. Had to pull over and then restart the car. The car would then buck and hesitate again until the epc light came on. …”
