Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving just after I exited the freeway, was pulling into a parking lot to go have lunch, the engine died, and the steering locked up, was unable to steer. I went in ate lunch drove it home on surface streets without a problem. It is a hybrid, I have taken it to the dealership, and they're telling me it is $13,000 to fix, but I'm more concerned that the car again could just lock up, and not steer.”
