“The contact owns a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera failed to display the image at the rear of the vehicle, and the radio was also disabled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,500.”

Driver held the brake and shifted to Drive; the vehicle stopped again, then shifted itself into Park and engaged the electronic parking brake without driver input. Driver had to shift to Drive again to get the vehicle moving. On the next attempt, reverse and forward motion worked normally and the vehicle was parked successfully. …”
